Random Web Design Tip
The “Resolution” Setting Is Meaningless to Web Images
Many references incorrectly advise you to save Web images at a 72 dots-per-inch resolution. While this won't hurt, it is a meaningless gesture. For Web images, what matters is the total number of pixels, not the resolution setting, which is completely ignored by Web browsers.
